Of all the things I've done, the one thing I never did was write a book. The one thing I always wanted to do, is write a book. This blog isn't exactly a book but it might be the closest I ever get. That's where the title of this blog comes from in case you were wondering. My book was going to be titled, "A Three Iron to Nowhere...So You Want to be a Golf Pro". The first part of the phrase is credited to an old golf buddy, Jeff Wecker, who's best shot was the lay up on a par five. This particular shot, as most golfers would know, requires no specific distance and really no specific target. His point being, when there was no consequence good or bad, he was great.
Tim Ferris, author of "The Four Hour Work Week" and "The Four Hour Body" said, "write about what you want, not what people want you to write about." Since there aren't going to be any consequences good or bad, it will be my "Three Iron to Nowhere".
